Marfret has been operating direct containerized freight services to the West Indies from the Mediterranean since 1980, with fixed departure dates and competitive transit times.  This service has since expanded and today Marfret operates eight 6900-TEU vessels on its MedCar service between the Western Mediterranean and the French West indies and Caribbean.

From the Caribbean, Marfret relies on a network of feeder routes to connect with Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Panama. With its experience and competitive schedules, Marfret has been providing a weekly reefer container service on its MedCar line for more than five years.

MARFRET – THE REFRIGERATED CONTAINER SPECIALISTS

The service specializes in transporting goods under controlled temperature (from -25°C to +25°C) in insulated containers equipped with the Starcool technology.  Marfret offers a regularly weekly service between Central America and Mediterranean with a 12-day transit time between Moin and Algeciras and 18 days to Livorno.
